We will be at Disney World over Christmas and would like to do a little something for the cast members we meet on Christmas Morning. Is there anything that the cast members are allowed to accept? Even just a little note or candy cane to say Thank you?

    Hi Keith!

I don't actually know for sure what the "rules" are regarding giving gifts to Cast Members, or if there are any rules at all!

But I can tell you that when my family was in Disney World a few years ago during the Holidays my children brought those tiny candy canes and gave them to Cast Members who went out of their way to make our vacation spectacular. The Cast Members were always gracious and thanked my kids! It never occurred to me that they might not be able to accept a gift!

I really like the idea of a thank you note or card as well. It definitely can't hurt to try!

I hope that you have a wonderful Holiday in Disney World!
