When does Disney World change from Halloween to Christmas decorations. We would like to bisit at a time when we could enjoy both back to back(2018) Thanks LaWana

    Hello, LaWana!

The holiday season is my absolute favorite time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! There is something extra magical about seeing the theme parks and resort hotels dressed in their holiday best to celebrate the season.

LaWana, because I'm lucky enough to live close to the parks, I have been able to witness the magical transformation that happens seamlessly and flawlessly from the fall and Halloween decorations in to the holly jolly Christmas chEAR! Once the last date for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party passes, the parks, specifically Magic Kingdom will, within a few days, turn into a winter wonderland. The transformation then trickles down throughout the rest of the resort.

Last year, the last date for Mickey's No-So-Scary Halloween Party was November 1st and the first date for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was November 9th. So, if you wish to enjoy both during your next visit, I'd use these dates to give you an idea on what dates to try to book your trip around. That would be one spook-tacularly-holly-jolly visit!

If you want to learn more about how Disney transforms for the seasons, the special behind the scenes tour Disney's Yuletide Fantasy will give you a sneak peek at how they do it!

Have fun planning your multi-holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to bring them our way.

    See ya real soon,

    Emille
