Will be at Disney World celebrating parents 50th anniversary. Any suggestion for great ways to celebrate or things to do to surprise the bride and groom? There will be 14 of us.

    Hi Christina,

Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate a 50th anniversary & its super sweet for you to want to do something special!

To celebrate as a group, I'd recommend Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue (HDDR), the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage (P&P) or the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. Spirit of Aloha, HDDR & P&P always pay special recognition to those celebrating something special so make sure you tell them when making your reservations.

For a personal touch, contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at or call them at 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438).

If you want to schedule something romantic for just the two of them, book a horse drawn carriage ride at Fort Wilderness or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY.

When making any advanced dining reservations (ADRs), be sure to mention that you'll be celebrating their anniversary. Dinner at California Grill timed to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom rocks!  You can order a special anniversary cake by calling 407-827-2253. ADRs are required & cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.

If you want to book an extra special dinner for the two of them, Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian is off the charts amazing!

Wishing your parents minnie magical anniversary memories :-) Allison
