    We have been to Disney World before and bought souvenir mugs. Can we use those same mugs for refills again this year at the resort and/or parks?

    Hey there, Sherri!

    I love the Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mugs and have quite a collection at at home! The mugs are a great way to save money during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and then they become wonderful souvenirs!

    Unfortunately, you cannot bring your mugs from a prior vacation and get refills on your upcoming trip. You will have to purchase new Rapid Fill Resort refillable mugs or use the ones that are provided with the purchase of the Disney Dining Plan. The mugs have an RFID chip embedded in the bottom that allows you to fill up your mug at the designated refill stations, so your older mugs will not work on this trip.
