Hi! We will be at Disney World August 29th - September 4th. Our 180 day mark is fast approaching (March 2nd). Do you know when Disney will announced the dates for MNSSHP or Epcot's Food and Wine Festival? Many thanks for any information!

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The countdown to the 180-day mark before a Walt Disney World vacation, when you can start making your advanced dining reservations, is almost as exciting as the countdown to the trip itself. Disney dining is my family's top priority, so we plan everything else around our meal schedule.

Like you, I'm eagerly awaiting news of the dates for two of fall's great events: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I checked the Disney Parks Blog earlier today to see if there were any updates. I would think the dates and schedules should be released any day now.

I can tell you that I would expect both events to be in full swing by the time of your visit. For the last couple of years, the Food & Wine Festival has kicked off right before Labor Day weekend. And Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has begun its spooktacular fun in mid-August.

I wish I had definitive answers for you, Melissa. Please keep an eye on the Blog for upcoming announcements about dates and ticket sales for the Halloween party and a schedule for the Festival.

And don't hesitate to check back if you'd like us to share our thoughts on the best Food & Wine Festival seminars and culinary demonstrations, the best place to watch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade or the most scrumptious restaurants at Walt Disney World. We are happy to help with any and all questions. Happy planning!
