Does Disney world still have an arcade gaming tower

    Hiya, Laurel. Welcome to planDisney

Laurel, by chance, are you thinking of DisneyQuest located at Disney Springs? DisneyQuest was a 5-story, 100,000 square-foot interactive gaming and arcade experience located on the West-Side of Disney Springs. I loved that place and it was a must-do every time we visited Walt Disney World. If that's what you are thinking of, I have some sad news. Disney Quest closed its' doors in the summer of 2017 and did not return.

Disney Springs has changed quite a bit over the years and there are still plenty of fun things to do over there. My family has enjoyed a game of bowling and dinner at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, snacks and a movie and the AMC Dine-In Theatre, a show at the Cirque Du Soleil theatre and so much more. If you head over to the Disney Springs website, you'll be able to check out all there is to do over there now - which is so much!

If your heart is set on an arcade, the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels do offer small arcades at each of the resorts. While it's nothing like DisneyQuest used to be, you can find a claw machine, some air hockey, basketball and a few other things to enjoy while you are there.

I miss DisneyQuest and your question brought back some great memories for me. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
