We are going to be at Disney World in April the week that the space shuttle is scheduled to launch. Is there any where in Disney that offers a great view of the shuttle in the air?

    Hi there Terri!

I was there for the last shuttle launch in February and I must say unfortunately, I missed it... I had everything planned and then something came up on my schedule and I ended up being inside during the launch. I have heard that if the sky is clear you will be able to see the plume of smoke from the booster rockets. Here is a link to a wonderful picture taken by one of the Disney Photographers of one of the recent launches... I'm sure they used a nice lens but as you can see Cinderella's Castle doesn't look all too huge as you would expect with a zoom lens. Good luck with the launch! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
