We are going to Disney World in April for Spring Break. We are taking two 11 year old that this will be there 1st trip to Disney. Is there a badge or anything they can get that stats this? Anything special they can get from Disney?

    Hi, Karen!

I would like to officially welcome your 11 year olds to Walt Disney World! That first trip to meet Mickey Mouse is so magical. What a great way to spend spring break!

You will definitely want to stop by a Guest Relations inside any of the theme parks to pick-up free "First Visit" buttons that your Mouseketeers can proudly wear. They might want to write the date on it so they can keep it as a wonderful souvenir of their first WDW vacation.

To make their vacation special, you might want to plan ahead with a welcome bag for each of them that you can quickly put together. Inside, put a notebook and pen for autographs, glow sticks that can be used at night, small snacks or crackers, a pair of sunglasses, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. This can all be picked up at a local dollar store. They will have fun opening their bags before heading out to the parks. You might even want to toss in a Disney Gift Card so they can each get a souvenir (plus the gift card keeps everyone on budget!)

Wishing all of you a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
