Going to Disney World April 3rd-April 10th. I've never gone this time of year before. Suggestions for a packing list/things to bring? Thanks!

Hello, Mariyana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your plans are in place, reservations made and your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting closer. Time to start thinking about packing for that magical trip!

I live in Central Florida, so I can report that the weather right now is absolutely glorious. Early April in these parts is usually hot and sunny during the day, and pretty warm at night as well. Time to break out your T-shirts, shorts, bathing suits and flip-flops, and don't forget your sunscreen! Evenings should stay pretty warm, but I'd bring a light sweater you can throw in a bag for air conditioned restaurants and theaters, as well as the odd cool snap that may occur. Just keep an eye on the weather reports before your departure date and you'll be prepared for anything!

One of my favorite Disney resources, allears.net, has a list of things to pack for your trip. There's a lot of stuff there so you won't bring all of it, bit it will help you remember the essentials. Just click on the Walt Disney World tab, then click ""Planning" and scroll down to "Packing Tips."

Hope that helps you be prepared for your upcoming trip, Mariyana. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
