We going to Disney World in April 2017 and have purchased the dinning plan. We have 2 boys 13 and 9 both are very picky eaters can both order off the kids menu

Hi Clyde! Welcome back and thanks for your question.
I am glad to hear you have purchased a Disney Dining Plan. They are great!
If you are using Disney Dining Plan credits, your 13-year-old son will be requested to choose from the adults menu. If he doesn’t like any of the options, I suggest you talk to your sever about alternatives for him.
I believe he will be allowed to order off the kids menu, but you may have to use a regular adult credit because of his age. Some people prefer to pay out of pocket for that meal, and keep the credit for another moment.
Restaurants at WDW are flexible and very accommodating, and cast members will always be there to help your family if you need any assistance.
Hope this helps your planning. Please, let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a magical day!
