On the Disney World App do my wife and I both need our own log in and then they somehow link together? We both have been logged in using her info on each of our phones. Thanks

Hi Mike! This is a great question as the My Disney Experience App can do so much more than it seems, but sometimes multiple people having the same information on multiple devices seems redundant. I personally need all of the available memory I can find, so my husbands phone usually holds "our" lesser used apps.

You certainly don't need multiple accounts to access all of the fun. You've already experienced being able to log into your wife's account from your device. And out of six trips in the last six years, my husband has never had his own account nor felt the need to have the app on his phone.

However, I will say that the My Disney Experience App is becoming more awesome all the time. Especially if you and your wife are traveling with kids or other adults, you could both benefit from having linked accounts from your own apps. This way when you intentionally separate for whatever reason, you could each have access to info like FastPass+ reservations, GPS enabled park maps, and as of last week the ability to order food from select quick-service dining locations WITH your dining plan right from your app. You'll be able to see real-time remaining meal plan entitlements your party may have, and my favorite, you'll even be able to see each others ride and PhotoPass photos.

To easily create your own profile, log in under her account, and under the "My Account" section, select "Family and Friends List." To the right of your character icon click on the word "Update." A blue box will pop up and in the upper right corner click "Invite to Connect", then enter your email address. After you get the email and set up an account, all currently made plans should transfer seamlessly. Now you won't accidentally kick the other off the account should you both try to log in at the same time!

I hope this helped, Mike, and we'll see you real soon!
