Hey there Nathan,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm glad to hear you'll get a chance to visit the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.
The
Disneyland mobile app is indeed a bit different than the
My Disney Experience app used for the Walt Disney World Resort. While it does not have a Friends and Family tab, there is still an option to manage your kiddos tickets and reservations!
In the Disneyland mobile app, you'll want to tap the menu button (the three horizontal lines in the bottom right), then select "Tickets and Passes." On this screen, you'll want to hit "Link Tickets & Passes," and you'll either scan your little ones' ticket barcodes or manually input them. Once those have been linked to your app, you'll be able to see them all in this section of the app and access their barcodes for quick scanning when entering the parks.
Now, when you navigate back to the home screen of the app, you should see a section near the top that says "Upcoming Plans" and will show upcoming
theme park reservations once you've made them. You can also select the "My Day" link in this section to see an overview of any reservations you've made for each day of your visit. If you end up making dining reservations, for example, then they will appear here for the day that you made them.
I hope that helps, Nathan! However, if you have any other questions, you can come back and ask us here at planDisney or
call a Cast Member at the Guest Information line! Thanks again for your question and have a great trip!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
