Ahoy, Julie, and welcome to planDisney! Your high seas adventure is just around the corner, and I love that you want to capture special moments on board. Let's take a look at your options.
At this time, the photo benefits on your Walt Disney World Annual Pass apply only at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and don't extend to Disney Cruise Line. Instead, you'll want to consider
adding a photo package to your cruise. If photos are important to you, I'd suggest going with the Photo: Unlimited Package – you can save if you book it in advance of your sailing.
Similar to Walt Disney World, you'll see professional photographers at locations with picturesque backdrops to take photos, as well as at dinner, with Characters, at Castaway Cay, and more. The photos will be linked to your stateroom number, and you can usually view them on the
Disney Cruise Line Photos website or at the photo kiosks at
Shutters Photography Shop.
Now, let's talk about an extra special photo opportunity –
Pirate Night. It's currently scheduled for Day 2 of your cruise. You can look forward a special dinner menu, swashbuckling entertainment, themed activities, and fireworks (weather permitting). Plus, it's a great time to dress up. Some Guests go all out with a pirate costume, and others keep it simple with a themed shirt and accessory. I have a family photo from Pirate Night that hangs in my office, and it always brings a smile to my face.
Before we part ways, Julie, I want to say how excited I am for you to experience the
Disney Wish. The ship is truly enchanting – as you step on board, you may notice a grand chandelier, the bronze statue of Cinderella, the whimsical designs on the railings, and even the patterns on the floor. Together, it all feels like a real-life fairytale.
Julie, I hope you have the most amazing time on your Bahamian cruise. If you think of any other questions as embarkation day approaches, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you many happy moments (and amazing photos),
Kriss
