If I have a Disney World annual pass, can I use Disney gift cards to make purchases, and still get the 10% discount or whatever discount the AP gives?

Hello Carol! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

After I became a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder a few years back, I became focused on taking advantage of every benefit and discount.

As that I am both an avid user of Disney Gift Cards and a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, you'll be pleased to hear that using Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment does not conflict with the benefits and discounts afforded to Annual Passholders

When you inform a Cast Member that you would like to receive a discount, they will request that you show your Annual Pass and Photo Identification. Once confirmed, the Cast Member will apply the appropriate discount (if available) and let you know the discounted price. At that point, you may use your Disney Gift Cards for payment of the discounted price.

Be sure to remember to always inquire if there is a discount for Annual Passholders whenever you purchase anything at Walt Disney World Resort. It never hurts to ask and I can't tell you how many times I forget to take advantage of discounts when buying merchandise of paying my bill at a Dining Location.

    Have a Magical Visit!
