Can I use my Disney World annual pass for anything at Disneyland? I will be visiting in August 2023.

Hi Lynette! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

You must be excited about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort. It's just around the corner! If you've only ever visited Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find there are plenty of different things to experience at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney District. My favorite is Disneyland Park--the nostalgia of that park is unbeatable! You'll even find differences between some of the attractions you already know and love, and of course, you can't miss out on Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, especially if you have Marvel fans in the group. You'll find lots of your favorite Characters in the parks, strolling around and ready to interact.

Unfortunately, one of the differences between Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort is that the Annual Pass you have can't be used while you're visiting Disneyland Resort, just as a Magic Key wouldn't work for you in Florida. It would be great if they were interchangeable or had discounts associated with them that you could use, but the resorts are separate entities.

I know that's not the magical news you were hoping for! But you can check to see if any discounts apply to you prior to your visit. Just be sure your profile is updated, so any applicable discounts will show up for you.

I hope you have the most magical time!
