Hello, Scott!
I’m thrilled you’re planning a springtime visit to the
Disneyland Resort. There’ll be lots of seasonal extras for you to enjoy, including the
California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! I haven’t heard any news regarding meet and greets with the Easter Bunny or his friends, but special offerings are always subject to change, so be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any last-minute news and additions.
However, there are other limited-time opportunities I recommend for your visit. Egg-stravaganza, a resort scavenger hunt, is a fun yet inexpensive way to add a little extra magic to your days. Once you have your special map and stickers (which can be purchased for a small fee), you search for special hidden Disney- and Pixar-themed “eggs” and track your finds on the Egg-stravaganza map. Even if your group doesn’t quite complete the hunt, you can still return your map to a redemption location to receive a prize.
Another favorite spring tradition is indulging in handmade chocolate fudge-filled Easter eggs. You can usually find these decadent treats at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park during the month leading up to Easter Sunday. Disneyland Candy Makers shape each egg by hand, fill it with house-made fudge and then coat it in milk chocolate. There are five flavors offered, but my personal favorite is the peanut butter. Only a limited number of eggs are made each week, so keep your eyes peeled!
Do you have a dining reservation for your Easter Sunday meal? You can book a special Easter buffet at Storytellers Cafe or Disney’s PCH Grill by calling (714) 781-DINE. I hope this helps, Scott. Please visit us with more questions as your vacation approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
