Does Disney World accept American Express? Thank you.

    Hi Lucie!

It sounds like you are getting ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort and I'm excited to help you prepare for your upcoming trip! Did you know that you will be joining the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration when you visit? You'll find birthday treats, exclusive merchandise and special entertainment for the occasion throughout the theme parks and Disney Springs. Be sure to look out for the Beacons of Magic as they add extra magic your evenings in the theme parks!

Walt Disney World Resort accepts all major credit cards, including American Express. While I generally utilize my Disney Premier Visa Card during my vacations to take advantage of the card benefits, I have also used my American Express Card while visiting without any issues.

Lucie, I recommend that you follow the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your visit so you can get information about both new and returning experiences headed to Walt Disney World Resort in time for your trip. Also, feel free to come back to see us if we can help you with another question! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
