    Does Disney World still have the AAA Diamond Parking option?

    Hi Gayla!

    Many of us loved using the AAA Diamond Parking privilege at Walt Disney World. But it is no longer offered to the guests. However, Disney has offered something extra special that allows getting around the parks much easier if you are choosing to Park Hop during your day.

    Check into the Express Transportation Option at Disney parks. All you have to do is park your car once or take the Disney complimentary transportation to your first park and then head to the Express Transportation locations in each park to hop on a bus backstage and quickly get to your next park destination. This will bypass all the entry lines and security allowing guests to get in a few more attractions. The service begins at 10am until park closings. You can purchase a pass for one day or for the amount of time you will be using the parks up to 7 days.

    If that doesn't sound good then check out the Preferred Parking at each theme park. This is a $40 cost to be able to park up close to the entrance no matter what time you arrive. You can even change from one park to the other paying only once each day. If you are a resort guest then the cost is $20 as you receive free standard parking so you only pay the difference which is $20.

    So for just a bit more money you can not only get close in parking with the Preferred option and then zoom from park to park using backstage buses with the Express Transportation. Just think of all the things you can accomplish that otherwise you would not be able to do because you would be in lines trying to get into the parks! I have used both and will use both again and again!
