We are going on the Disney Wonder on 9/26/14. What time can we expect to be picked up at the WDW art of animation resort and taken to the cruise? I made spa reservations and don't want to miss that...

    Ahoy, Fonda!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm happy to see you've got a fun adventure planned on the Disney Wonder. September is an awesome time to sail!

When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort before your cruise, you'll receive a letter in your room the night before your sail date. The letter will give you all the details you'll need regarding luggage pickup and transportation to the port. Luggage pickup typically begins around 8am. You'll be provided special luggage tags, and the Bell Services Team will come to your resort room to pick up your bags. No need to drag your bags to the lobby, and you don't need to be present for your luggage to be collected. So, feel free to head to Art of Animation's Landscape of Flavors dining area for a yummy breakfast before you meet your Disney Cruise Line motorcoach.

Departure times for the DCL motorcoaches will vary, depending on the number of cruisers leaving from each resort. You can expect to possibly make a few stops to pick up guests from other resorts. No worries, the stops are quick and organized because everyone is eager to set sail! On our last Land and Sea vacation, we met the motorcoach around 10:45, and arrived at the terminal around noon. Most guests arriving via Disney buses are at the port by around 1 - 1:30pm at the latest. I don't know what time your spa reservation is, but I'm certain that the nice folks at Vista Spa and Salon will be happy to accommodate you once you're onboard. What an awesome, relaxing way to start your Disney Cruise!

I hope you have a most magical time on your Disney Cruise Line vacation - please say hi to Captain Mickey for me! - Diane W.
