Ahoy there, Amanda!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It sounds like you’re already dreaming of cozy nights and smooth seas
aboard the Wonder—and let me tell you, as someone who sometimes gets a little too comfy in those plush beds, I totally get it! My crew has been known to hit snooze one too many times... until we smell those Mickey waffles calling our names from Cabanas!
Now, let’s talk about the
sleeping situation in your stateroom—because everyone deserves a dreamy place to rest after a day of adventures with Captain Mickey and friends!
While the sofa beds onboard the Wonder don’t have a trundle that rolls out from underneath, they do feature a clever and super comfy setup. Instead of the old-fashioned pull-out style, the back of the sofa actually folds down to create a bed. No need to wrestle with couch cushions or fold-out frames—just a quick transformation that even Fairy Godmother would be proud of (but your Stateroom Host will take care of this for you!).
Every non-Concierge stateroom will come equipped with a queen bed (no glass slipper required) and a sofa bed, and
depending on your room’s capacity, you’ll also have additional bedding options:
• Staterooms that sleep four will include an upper-berth pull-down bed from the ceiling (yes, the bunk bed moment is as magical as it sounds),
• And staterooms that sleep five also include a wall pull-down bed in addition to the sofa bed and upper bunk.
One thing I’ve found super helpful over the years is bringing along some magnetic hooks for a little extra pixie-dusted organization. On the Wonder (and her sister ship, the Magic), both the
stateroom doors and ceilings are magnetic. These hooks are great for hanging hats, lanyards, day bags, or even organizing your Fish Extender gifts if you’re participating in one of those magical exchanges. It really helps keep things tidy so you’re not stepping over Captain Hook’s collection of... well, hooks! If you ever sail aboard the other ships in the fleet (like the Dream, Fantasy, Wish, or Treasure), you’ll find the walls are also magnetic, opening up even more possibilities for keeping things shipshape.
I hope this helps you rest easy as you get ready for your high-seas adventure! You're going to love every moment aboard the Wonder—from Broadway-style shows to the soft-serve ice cream at
Eye Scream Treats. Trust me, the magic is in the details!
Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
Dustin
