Ahoy, Yvonne! It sounds like you and your crew are getting ready for an adventure on the
Disney Wonder soon! I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your question so I can help you prepare for your trip (and it sounds like you may be up for the Favorite Grandmother Award too!).
I just chatted with a Disney Cruise Line representative and unfortunately, a Pirate Night is not offered on that particular itinerary. While I know that is a Bippity Boppity Bummer, I am happy to report that there is a “Heroes Unite” deck party scheduled for that Saturday. Heroes Unite is a nighttime spectacular on the upper deck featuring stunts, special effects, pyrotechnics, and an incredible line-up of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains. So if they have a favorite hero, those costumes would be perfect to pack as well!
Speaking of Marvel, if your grandchildren are between the ages of 3-10, they can sign up to enter the top-secret command center of S.H.I.E.L.D as part of Marvel Super Hero Academy inside of
Disney’s Oceaneer Club too.
I know you’ll make the most of every moment with your grandkids during your trip. I suggest starting with a bang by packing their swimsuits in your carry-on baggage and heading to AquaLab for some water-filled fun alongside Huey, Dewey, and Louie. After splashing around, you can all grab a snack and some sweet treats (aka unlimited complimentary soft serve ice cream) from Pete’s Boiler Bites & Eye Scream Treats before
Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Party!
Yvonne, the Disney Wonder truly lives up to its name. If I can be of any further assistance before your voyage, I hope you’ll come back and visit me here at
planDisney.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
