Ahoy Jennie!
Thanks for MIXING up a great question for us here at planDisney. So excited to hear you have a Disney cruise on the horizon. Captain Mickey is sure to UNCORK lots of fun for you during your sailing on the Disney Wonder.
Good news! Even on the
bar and lounge menus, you can find non-alcoholic beverages with fun names like Passion Cream Freeze and Parrot Song. Naturally, some beverages can also be converted to non-alcoholic ones, depending on the ingredients. I have always been so impressed with the bartending skills of the Cast Members...plus, they come up with some incredibly inventive drinks. So my money’s on them being able to deliver the perfect concoction for you.
For every day of your sailing, there’s a Drink of the Day that features both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic selection. Here’s a planDisney tip: It might take a little more time, but always order the Drink of the Day from one of the bars or lounges instead of taking one of the pre-prepared ones from the trays that Cast Members have. It will be made to order, so typically that means it tastes fresher and less likely to be watered down by the time it gets to you.
Is there a better time to make a toast and say "CHEERS" than during a deck party? After the
muster drill, head up to Deck 9 and DRINK in all the fun during
“Mickey’s Sail-a-Wave Party!” I can’t think of a more festive way to set sail than dancing and singing along with Disney characters.
To dial it back a notch, seek out what I call the "kid-free zones" onboard. Nothing says relaxing quite like having a cocktail or mocktail in one of the
adult-exclusive areas of the ship overlooking the scenic views. On the Disney Wonder, the
Quiet Cove Pool is flanked with many loungers and cozy chairs set up for conversation. Makes quite the serene setting for a beverage and some "me time."
POP back by planDisney if you have more planning questions before you set sail. It makes us positively BUBBLY to answer them.
Bon Voyage!
