Hi Elizabeth!
Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question! My little buccaneer with disabilities loves sailing on Disney Cruises. It's been my experience that Disney Cruise Line goes above and beyond to accommodate all their Guests with special needs. Each cruise we're surprised and touched by all the Cast Members' compassion and readiness to make my son's cruise memorable!
The entrance into the pools onboard are either via a ladder or steps but they do offer a pool lift for Guests with challenges getting into the pool! If you have a member of your party needing an easier route into the pool, I suggest calling
Disney Cruise Line's Special Services Team at (407) 566-3602 to request a pre-arranged pool lift. I know you're setting sail tomorrow so if you don't get an opportunity to contact Special Services, don't worry! You can stop by the
Guest Services Desk as soon as you get onboard and speak with them about setting up pre-arranged times to book the pool lift!
I also suggest checking out the
Information for Guests with Disabilities specifically for the Disney Wonder. This document will give you tons of information regarding accessibility on and around the ship! Even though we've sailed on multiple Disney Cruises, I love to reference this document before each trip.
I'm wishing your entire crew a splashtacular time aboard the Disney Wonder! Please say "Hi" to Captain Mickey for me!
Beth
