We want to take the Disney Wonder cruise from San Diego disembarking in Vancouver Canada and fly back to San Diego. Do we need passports?

    Welcome aboard, Laurie!

Thanks for bringing your question to us! The Disney Wonder is the first Disney Cruise Line ship I ever sailed on, I hope you will love her as much as I do. Let's make sure you've got everything you need to have your trip go smoothly!

Having the right travel documentation is critical for a successful cruise! Current government regulations require that US Citizens (including children) who are traveling to or returning from Vancouver by air have a valid US Passport. I would recommend checking the US State Department website if you have more questions about international travel requirements.

The Disney Wonder is such a beautiful ship! Would this be your first Disney Cruise? I highly recommend using the Disney Cruise Line website to explore all of the activities available on the Wonder. If your itinerary includes a day or two "At Sea" you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the ship! There is so much included in a Disney Cruise, I'm confident that everyone in your party will find something to love.

Once you arrive in Vancouver, you might also opt to include a post-cruise hotel stay so that you can spend some time in the city before you return home. You can never go wrong with an extra day (or two!) of vacation!

I hope this information helps you prepare to set sail, Laurie! Please come visit us again if you have more planning questions. It's been a pleasure having you aboard with us!

    Keep moving forward!
