Ahoy Courtney!
Thanks for being like Alice and coming back to the Wonderland that is Disney Cruise Line! I love this question about my favorite itinerary thus far...
Alaska! The Disney Wonder makes a majestic home at sea as it glides through glacier-filled waters. The natural beauty is truly a sight to behold!
I love how you already have the time zone change for this cruise on your radar. Now that’s planning! Unlike the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, you won’t be “late for a very important date” for any activities or entertainment onboard.
Based on the dates of your particular sailing, you are projected to set your clocks back one hour on your second night onboard (At Sea Day). Then on Day 6 (Ketchikan), you will set the clocks forward one hour. The good news is that Captain Mickey makes sure all Guests get reminders about these time changes in their staterooms on the appropriate days. Thank goodness for those awesome stateroom hosts! Fortunately, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and daily Personal Navigators available at Guest Services are also huge reminders of the time zone changes and will keep you on point with the daily schedule.
Once you step onboard, you will be given what I call the royal treatment. (Hey, even the Queen of Hearts would be impressed!) From the
rotational dining team that caters to our every need to the spa treatments at
Senses Spa and Salon, this mama gets her groove back while on a cruise ship! I hope you will be grinning bigger than the Cheshire Cat during your Alaskan adventure.
Courtney, hop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you are “curiouser and curiouser’’ about more planning tips. Wishing you a WONDERful cruise!
Happy Sailing!
