Ahoy, Amy!
What an amazing
Alaskan adventure you have in store for your family. I love that your whole family is traveling together - a multigenerational vacation is so much fun, and a Disney Cruise Line vacation is perfect for cruisers of all ages! I'm sure you'll be making magical memories to last a lifetime.
It sounds like you've got some fun
Port Adventures on the horizon! When heading off the ship in port, the onboard security system prevents children under the age of 18 from disembarking the ship unless accompanied by an adult in their same stateroom. To allow adults from another stateroom to accompany your children off the ship, you'll need to complete a Debarkation Authorization For Minors form (you should receive one of these forms in your stateroom before you make a port stop, but you can also request one at the Guest Services Desk). Completed forms will need to be returned to the Guest Services Desk prior to visiting the port.
When you disembark and go through security, make sure that the adults and children that will be getting off the ship together are grouped together in the security line. The adults will need to scan their Key to the World Cards ahead of the minors that will be in their care.
I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if you have more questions before your Alaskan getaway on the gorgeous
