Hi , we will be going to disney in about 2 wks, Around aug 6, are the parks really crowded around this time, being that school is starting back for a lot of kids ?

    Hey Trellis!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question.

You are correct that some of the west coast schools have started back at that time. However, most of the eastern schools will return to session between the middle of August and Labor Day. This doesn't mean you won't have an absolutely fantastic time. I have been during the busiest times of the year and by following these guidelines you should get to see, experience and eat anything you want:
    • Arrive early - If you arrive at rope drop you will get to ride nearly any attraction you want before most Guests even arrive.
    • Utilize Disney's FastPass+ service - Making FastPass+ selections will save you time waiting in queue lines on headliner attractions
    • Dine during off hours - if you want to eat at a particular restaurant try brunch and late lunch.

I hope these tips will help with your planning. If you have any other questions about making the most of your time at Walt Disney World please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
