Anchors aweigh, LaTonya!
The Disney Wish is filled with many wonderfully interactive and entertaining spaces to explore as a whole family! My son and niece loved the slide from the Grand Hall into the kids’ club. Even the grownups took a turn during Open House hours!
It sounds like you already know about Disney Cruise Line’s newest technology
DisneyBand+. This waterproof wristband is designed to add more magic to your cruise, and the benefits begin from the moment you arrive at the terminal! Your junior sailors who are 12 and under can use their DisneyBand+ to access
Disney's Oceaneer Club. But that’s not all; the band can be used to board the ship, access your stateroom, and pay for onboard purchases. Plus, there are a few extra surprises built in. Just ensure you charge your band overnight before embarkation so it’s ready to go.
After boarding the ship, I suggest enjoying lunch at
Marceline Market and then stopping by the Oceaneer Club during Open House. You can explore the imaginative spaces together before secured programming begins. A youth counselor will have your Mouseketeers tap their DisneyBand+ to the Mickey Head and review the information you provided during online check-in – that’s it, they are ready to play!
One space my family really enjoyed together was the air-conditioned
Hero Zone. There are a variety of tabletop games and sports courts. The highlight for my son was the Incredi-Games obstacle course. Check the Activity Schedule on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for course hours. Don’t forget to pack socks. You can’t compete without them. The best spot to cheer on your heroes is from the balcony. You can look down and see the entire obstacle course.
I hope this information helps clear things up for you and that it’s smooth sailing ahead. Please, cruise back to planDisney anytime. We are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
