Ahoy, Laura! Thank you for stopping by with your question.
I see you’re exchanging winter snow for crystal-clear
Bahamian waters in the next few weeks. The
Disney Wish is an excellent ship to coast along at sea. It is beautiful and elegant, yet completely relaxing and fun. You’re going to have a great time!
I’m glad to see you’re already thinking about what paperwork you’ll need to bring. The process is the same for going ashore in both Nassau and Castaway Cay. Guests over the age of 15 are required to show a driver’s license or government-issued photo I.D. and their Key to the World card. You’ll find your Key to the World card outside your stateroom door on the first day; essentially, it is your stateroom key and onboard identification. While you need a birth certificate or passport to board the Disney Wish in Florida, you can keep them safely tucked away in your stateroom safe for the remainder of the cruise. Your birth certificate should be the original or copy of the state-issued birth certificate. You can find more information on the
Passport and Travel Documentation page.
If you haven’t done so already, don’t forget to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you sail. You can keep track of all the activities on board, plus you can favorite the ones you don’t want to miss. About fifteen minutes before the activity, you’ll get a reminder, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on any of the fun.
Enjoy your sailing on the Disney Wish, and please stop by if you have any additional questions!
Bon Voyage,
Tracie
