Ahoy there, Jhesusa, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sailing our way for I'm sorry that you and your crew have encountered some rough seas and will have to change course when it comes to your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I know how that is, as we've rescheduled or cancelled cruises four times over the past year.
While it's a lot less fun to turn your countdown into a "count-up," the good news is that the flexibility offered by Disney Cruise Line is one of the many reasons my family continues to book Disney Cruise Line vacations!
I have great news, Jhesusa: since you're planning on rescheduling with more than 60 days until your sail date,
Disney Cruise Line's temporarily relaxed cancellation policy is still in effect! That's right, for all sailings prior to September 30, 2022, Guests have until 60 days prior to sailing to make cancellations without fees! The only exception to this policy is for Guests booked in staterooms with restrictions or in Concierge-level staterooms - both of which are non-refundable reservations.
In order to reschedule, all you need to do is to
contact a Disney Cruise Line crew member by phone! Be sure to have your reservation number, and if you have an idea of another sail date you're looking to re-book on, be sure to have that sail date and desired stateroom category handy as well! Remember, while you won't be charged any fees as long as you cancel prior to 60 days before your original sail date, any fare difference will still apply.
If you are still deciding when exactly your new sail date will be, that's totally ok, and the crew member will be able to process your refund and you can re-book your new date yourself on the Disney Cruise Line website when you decide! With the
Disney Wish's inaugural season just around the corner, there are plenty of opportunities to reschedule on the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet - I hope you
find an itinerary that will work for you and your crew!
I'm sorry again that you're having to change your dates, but I'm so glad you sailed my way with your question before you would be charged fees, Jhesusa! If you have any other questions as you make these changes, please sail my way again here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
