For the Disney Wish, when we get to the Bahamas, what type of activities are walking distance?

    Ahoy Sharnnia!

Nassau, The Bahamas, is a vibrant port with a treasure trove of activities just a short walk from where your Disney Cruise Line ship docks. You’ll find yourself in the heart of the action within minutes! From the cruise port, there are several options. For example, you can explore the historic Straw Market for local crafts and souvenirs, visit the Pirates of Nassau Museum for a swashbuckling good time, or stroll over to Parliament Square to take in colonial architecture and colorful government buildings. For a splash of sun and sea, Junkanoo Beach is about a 15-minute walk and is free to enjoy. It’s a perfect place for sandy toes and turquoise views!

If you decide to stay aboard the Disney Wish while in port, you’re in for a different kind of magic! With many guests ashore, it’s the perfect time to explore the ship with a little extra breathing room. Lounge by the upper decks’ pools and whirlpools, zoom down the AquaMouse, Disney’s first attraction at sea, or indulge in a luxurious treatment at Senses Spa. You can also join a character meet-and-greet without the usual lines, catch a movie matinee at one of the two gorgeous theatres, or sip on a handcrafted coffee at the Cove Café. The Wish is a wonderland all its own, even when it’s docked!
    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
