Hi! We're going to disney in 4 weeks. We're at the all star movie resort. we have eservations in animal kingdom for 9am and then on another day at grand floridian at 8am. do buses run early enough? can I drive to those locations?

Hi Charlene!  Sounds like you have some great dining reservations set up for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

Disney will begin running buses at least an hour before park opening. When you get to the Animal Kingdom park try to arrive no later then 8:45am and head directly over to the right side of the long lines waiting at the gates.  There will be a separate gate entry for those who have early morning dining reservations and they will check you in there. Do NOT wait in the regular lines or you will miss your time.  It will take about 10 minutes to walk to Tusker House so give yourself plenty of time and since it is at a time when there will be crowds get there as early as you can.

For the Grand Floridian reservation you can take the early morning bus for the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the resort monorail to get to the Grand.  This is a little trickier so you might find driving to this resort for the reservation to be easier. You simply tell the guard at the entrance that you have a dining reservation and they will offer you valet parking or self parking. Valet is $12 a day plus gratuity but sometimes I find it is the best money spent to be able to just drop it and head to the resort and not have to walk a mile!

Four weeks and counting....wish I had the same countdown but for me it is more like four months and counting!
