Hi, we are going to Disney this weekend! What do you suggest we bring into the park? There are 6 adults and what are some necessities? Thanks!!!!

    Hi Megan!

On the rare occasion that my husband and I get to enter a Disney park without our kids in tow, I like to carry absolutely nothing other than my park ticket, and room key (for charging privileges) and breeze through the "no bags" line at security.  That is because, when we do have our kids, we take the equivalent of a small refrigerator, enough first aide supplies to take care of en entire kindergarten class, several changes of clothes...well, you get the point!

Seriously, with a group of adults, I'd recommend taking sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, rain poncho (depending upon the forecast and time of year) water bottles (or a preferred beverage that's not in a glass container and not alcohol) and maybe some snacks if you'd like to save money on concessions.  I also recommend taking as little of your wallet as possible.  I usually stick my driver's license, park ticket, room key and a credit card in a pocket.  Disney involves a lot of walking.  If you don't have kids with you, you won't be able to hang your bags on a stroller, so I'd recommend pairing down your "stuff" to include only these essentials!

    Have a wonderful, "grown-up" trip!
