We will at Disney the week after Thanksgiving and are attending the MVMCP. My daughter is only 22 months so I want to make sure she gets a good nap in before we go. If the party starts at 7 will me miss anything overly important if we are a little late?

Hi Rebecka! Your vacation dates are the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World. Christmas is in full swing with the parks and resorts decorated and the holiday crowds still weeks away.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of the exciting events in the Magic Kingdom. I can appreciate that you will want your young one to be awake and aware of all the things going on around her. I think the most important part of the evening will be to watch the wonderful Christmas parade. The times for this are 8:15 and 10:30pm and the fireworks are in between.  The first parade will definitely be the most crowded and if you can find a spot in Frontierland it is a little easier.

With your party ticket you can actually enter the Magic Kingdom with that ticket as early as 4pm. The crowds will obviously diminish at 7pm when all other guests must leave the park so the attractions will have few lines or at least shorter lines. There will be entertainment all evening as well as snow on Main Street and cookies and cocoa offered at different spots in the park.

You will want to make the most from purchasing this ticket so planning a nap for your little one is tough. Decide which parade you will want to see and make sure you schedule around that as you won't want to miss it! After all Santa rides in this special holiday parade as well as all the other wonderful Disney characters.
