Hi, we will be in Disney the week of October 5. I learned that the T REX restaurant is booked to capacity. I went one year during July 4 and did not have a reservation, but we got a table just fine. Do they leave some seating available for walk-ups? TY!

Sometimes people just get lucky, like you did on July 4th.
It is not the best strategy to hope for "walk ups" on a regularly occurring basis, but it is certainly possible. It is simply a matter of pure luck and timing. Cancellations happen every day across all of the restaurants on property for any number of reasons, so if you are in the right place at the right time, it may just work out. One suggestion is trying during "off-peak" meal times, like lunch before 11:30 or after 2PM, that sort of thing.
