    Going to Disney the 4th week in March, will be too cold for Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

    Hi Amanda,

    I think March is a great choice for the Mickey BBQ.  Toward the end of the month, average highs are in the low 80s and average lows are in the low 60s.  I would recommend bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt.  The event takes place in a giant pavilion at Fort Wilderness Campground and is well covered in case of rain.  In addition, it almost always sells out, so it will be crowded, which is why I prefer a cooler evening.  Finally, the show involves almost non-stop dancing with the characters and entertainers.  It offers unprecedented access to Mickey, Minnie and pals.  If you are bringing kids, I all-but-guarantee you will have a hard time keeping them in their seats, and that they won't be cold!
