We are going to be at Disney the week of the fourth of July. Can you tell me what HS and AK do for the fourth of July? And which one out of HS, AK and Epcot are the least crowded normally? We are not doing MK that day!!

    Hello there, Leslie!

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a star-spangled vacation! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your incredible summer adventure.

While I haven't heard any announcements for what will take place this Fourth of July, I thought it may help to take a look at what activities and events took place last year around Walt Disney World Resort. Historically, Magic Kingdom Park has offered special fireworks, dance parties and other events on both July 3rd and 4th. If this year is the same, I recommend celebrating in that park on the 3rd. While there weren't any super special experiences at Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park last year, this year may be different. Especially at Disney's Hollywood Studios with the opening of the new Toy Story Land only a few days before. Depending on what events are announced, I'd probably choose to spend the holiday at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park--it's beautiful, especially after dark.

Have a magical vacation, Leslie, and please let us know if you have any other vacation planning questions.

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
