Hi Simone,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Mmmmmmm…snacks. Walt Disney World snacks. Mickey-shaped snacks. Thank you for bringing these happy thoughts into my life!
My family really loves being on the
Disney Dining Plan, because it gives us so many opportunities to enjoy our favorite snacks (looking at you, Dole Whip) AND taste-test delicious new snacks. What can I say? It’s
snack-tacular!
Simone, this
handy list of 2019 Disney Dining Plans Participating Locations is a great resource, but it can be a little confusing when it comes to snacks. This list, as well as the website, lists places that accept Quick-Service and Table-Service meal entitlements, but does not include locations only offering snack options. Your best strategy is to look for the square, purple “DDP” logo on menus around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs – this logo indicates eligible snack items. Also, please remember that Disney Dining Plan eligibility is subject to change at any time, so always check with a Cast Member if you’re in doubt.
At the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, ice cream cones and select floats and sundaes are eligible snacks on the Disney Dining Plan. At Storybook Treats, many ice cream items, including the delicious key lime Peter Plan Float, are currently eligible as well. At Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, there are several eligible drinks, along with funnel cakes and Mickey Waffles with toppings. Not everything on the menu at these locations will be eligible, so look for that purple “DDP” logo.
I hope that clears the way for happy snacking, Simone!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
