It sounds like you're looking forward to spend a little bit of your upcoming vacation to spend a day soaking in the Floridian sun and enjoying some aquatic adventures in the best way possible at Walt Disney World Resort. If you're ever in doubt about any of the Disney Destinations, the best place to look is often the
Hours & Events Calendar (where you can even select a 5-Day View around the dates of your visit to see a few more dates all at once). Typically this is updated to reflect dates 2 months in advance, though this can never be be necessarily guaranteed and subject to change.
From what I can currently see on the calendar,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be open during your upcoming stay with Park Hours from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. - which remains consistent with what we've come to expect over the past few years. For example, guests were still able to enjoy its lush tropical surroundings and offerings
until early November when it closed to make way for Disney's Blizzard Beach throughout the winter. Last year we visited the water parks frequently and observed as operations along with Cast Members and Resort Transportation all transferred between water parks which made our visits during that period both feel new and yet familiar at the same time. I do highly recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates leading up to your visit, just in case anything does change before then!
Your visit falls during one of my favorite times of the year where the theme parks just seem to be brimming with so much to experience, whether it's all of the offerings of the spookiest season like
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. With events like these to enjoy, it can certainly make for a great day spending the first half at the water park before heading to one of the theme parks to finish off the night!
