    We will be going to the Disney water parks in August and staying off property. We are driving this trip and were wondering if they charge for parking at Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon?

    Hi Michael!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I really enjoy spending time at Walt Disney World's water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach, and I always schedule a day at both of these parks as a relaxing break from the theme parks.  I will often be found floating around Castaway Creek or Cross Country Creek - absolute bliss!  Even more reason to visit the water parks is that standard parking is complimentary to all Guests, and my top tip is to arrive at least 20 minutes before the park opens, so you have time to purchase a locker, store your valuables away, and get ready for rope drop. You can then head straight to find the perfect spot for your beach chairs, or make your way to be first in line for your favourite attractions. You might find this water park guidemap useful when planning your days.   There are also several ways to enhance your days at the water parks, from renting premium and private seating areas, to purchasing an All-Day Refillable Mug (currently priced at $11.99, but this is subject to change).
