Hiya Melane,
Welcome to planDisney! I've said it before, Melane but I used to skip the water parks when I visited Walt Disney World Resort. Don't get me wrong, I love lounging by the pool at my resort hotel, but I rarely make it over to the water parks. But after taking advantage of the
water park benefit this year, I will never skip again! My little Mouseketeer had a blast, and it's a great way to kick off your vacation.
Great news, Melane, the Disney Water Parks are open all year round (as long as the weather permits)! So you will be able to visit either
Typhoon Lagoon or
Blizzard Beach when you visit in November. Blizzard Beach is traditionally the water park you can anticipate to be open in the winter (Typhoon Lagoon is typically reserved for the spring and summer), but as we get closer to the beginning of the fall months, we should be able to confirm which theme park will be open.
I hope this was helpful, Melane. Before I let you go, I'm not sure when you are planning to visit in November, but if it is before the 22nd, don't forget to check out
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Disney Parks Blog released a
sneak peek into the festival (which begins in August), and I cannot wait to check it out! Please come back and see us if you need anything else as you continue planning.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
