Hi Deidra, I am excited to see that you are considering visiting one of the Disney Water Parks during your vacation. I have spent years visiting both
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park with my family and I can say there isn't a bad choice!
While both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park both have kiddie play areas, when my daughter was that small it seemed like we always gravitated toward Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
Tike's Peak is the main area for preschoolers. There you'll find miniature snow-banked slides, side-by-side downhill slides, a mini inner-tube ride and chutes tunneling though the snow that are just the right size and speed for your little ones. Also in this area you'll find wading pools with really cute "snow" sculptures that make a great photo opportunity and some fun pop-up water jets. Besides Tike's Peak, your whole family can enjoy attractions like the family raft ride Teamboat Springs, the Ski Patrol Training Camp and water slides like the Runoff Rapids and Snow Stormers. If your little ones aren't feeling as adventurous, your whole family can also enjoy the Cross Country Creek which is very similar to a lazy river and Melt-Away Bay which is a gentle wave pool. But no trip to Disney's Blizzard Beach is complete without some friendly competition on the Toboggan Racers which is my favorite thing to do with people of all ages at Disney's Blizzard Beach. It isn't to be missed!
Disney's Blizzard Beach has so much to offer for families, I really do think you'd have a fantastic day there. Hope this helps make your decision a little easier!
