Hi Nicola!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK. Thank you for sending me this question - I love the
Disney water parks too! I think they can sometimes be overlooked in favour of the possibly more exciting and wonderful Disney theme parks, but they should be an
imperative part of our holiday for enforced relaxation, taking everything at a slightly slower pace for a day or two.
At the time of writing, Water Park Annual Passes are not for sale, either in the UK or in the USA. However, there is currently a Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass which is valid between 4th September 2024-23rd May 2025 (blockout dates of April12-20). I know this won't work for your holiday in September '25 but I recall this was on offer last year, so hopefully this will be brought back next year too. This year's prices are US$84.14 (including tax) for adults; and US$77.75 (including tax) for children. You can enter the water park (
whichever is open) as many times as you like, within the valid dates. Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any news of this returning for next year.
The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass cannot be purchased from the UK, but you can do so as soon as you arrive in the US. Please visit any Guest Relations at the theme parks or water parks, or the Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
You may also buy these passes online by using this link (it will only work when you are in the US). If you buy this in person you probably need to show your ID (UK passport or driving licence). Proof of residency shouldn't be required.
The only alternative would be to buy a one-day water park ticket (US$78.81 adults, US$72.42 children 3-9, including tax). These prices demonstrate the fantastic value of a Seasonal Pass. I hope they bring this back next year!
If there's any chance you might want to visit any of the 4 theme parks during your stay, our UK 14-Day Magic Tickets give you 14 days admission to the theme parks
and 14 days admission to whichever water park is open, to be used over 18 days. Current prices are £539 (adults), and £519 (children 3-9) and
can be purchased now, from here.
All prices mentioned are subject to change.I know you want to visit Typhoon Lagoon. I love Typhoon Lagoon too, but only one water park is open at a time, on a rotational basis. This year, Typoon Lagoon will close 4th November, when Blizzard Beach will re-open. If they stay with this schedule, hopefully Typhoon Lagoon will be open during your visit, but this cannot be guaranteed. Please check the
park calendar nearer the time for details of which one will be open in September 2025.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can
send me another direct question if you wish. We are always happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
Sue
