When we come to disney I am wanting to rent a scooter. How do I get from the resort to the parks? Is there a special bus? Boat? Thanks

    Hello,  Richard,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are welcome to rent an ECV at any of the ECV Rental locations that can be found inside each of the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. If you click on the link I provided, you can see a map that shows the location of each of them. If you'd prefer to have an ECV with you at the resorts, too, there are several independent providers that Walt Disney World works with; their information can also be found in the link I provided above.

All Disney resorts offer complimentary resort transportation throughout Walt Disney World, and scooters can be accommodated on nearly all modes of transportation.  The type of transportation will vary by resort.  If you'd like to send an additional question about your specific resort, we can give you a more detailed answer. I can share with you that my mother was in a wheelchair on the last trip she took with us, and she was always treated with respect and care on Disney transportation and attractions.  She felt like a princess!

You can read more about Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities and the latter portion of the article talks in detail about resort transportation if you are in an ECV.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
