    How to use Disney Walt card

    Hi there, Madiha!

    Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe that your great big beautiful tomorrow will find you in The Most Magical Place on Earth? There's no time to waste, so let's get right to your question! 

    ABC's Once Upon a Time taught us that all magic comes with a price, but I think you'll feel that paying for merchandise, food, and experiences with a Disney Gift Card or Disney Chase Visa at Walt Disney World Resort is as easy as bibbidi bobbidi boo.
    • Disney Gift Cards are accepted as forms of payment at all Disney-owned locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. To redeem their value you will simply keep the physical card (or copy of the eGift Card) with you to present at the point of sale. Because Disney Gift Cards can be purchased in amounts ranging from $25 to $500, I often find my wallet filled to capacity with them during my vacations making it difficult to keep track of the remaining funds on each card. To avoid this scenario I suggest creating an account on Disney Gift Card's website where you'll be able to conveniently combine your Disney Gift Cards up to a balance of $1000. Finally, the fact that your Disney Gift Card cannot be stored in your My Disney Experience account does not mean that you can't use it for payment through the app. When using a gift card to pay for Mobile Food and Beverage Orders or Merchandise Mobile Checkout in the My Disney Experience App you'll have the option to choose 'Disney Gift Card' as your payment method and be prompted to enter the card's number and EAN to complete the purchase. To expedite this process I like to save these numbers in the Notes app of my phone so that I'm able to copy and paste them directly into the app. 
    • Cardmembers who hold Disney Visa Cards can use these as payment at Walt Disney World Resort as you would any other credit or debit card. Personally, I love using mine during my magical vacations because of the perks and discounts associated with its use. Helpfully, your Disney Visa Card can be stored as a form of payment in your My Disney Experience account (you'll find this option under your 'Profile' and 'Payment Method') for purchases through the app. You will also have the option to designate your Disney Visa Card as the default form of payment when charging purchases to your room upon check-in at the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel.
