If I use my Disney Visa Rewards dollars for a trip (hotel, air and park tix) and buy the Disney travel insurance and was not able to go if someone got sick, hurt or bad weather would the travel insurance or Disney refund my Disney Rewards dollars?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sabrina! I love earning my vacations by using my Disney VISA! The dollars on my Disney Rewards card recently bought me my Main Street, U.S.A. dress and cardigan from Uptown Jewelers on Dapper Day!

Just like any form of payment you choose to pay for a Magic Your Way Vacation Package (or room, for that matter) will return your fund in case of cancellation per the original form of payment. If it is Disney’s Travel insurance, the same rules stand. I would advise you to read all the rules and regulations before signing off or completing your purchase just in case the rules change or the travel insurance is not provided by Disney itself. A Disney-authorized Travel Agent or a Cast Member in reservations should be able to properly advise you.

In the meantime, be sure to shop at home with your Disney VISA to earn points towards your vacation. Nothing tastes better than a Mickey Ice Cream Bar bought with your points! We’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
