Alicia, don't you just love using
Disney Visa Rewards? Earning money to spend on a
Disney Cruise Line vacation by shopping for groceries and filling up my gas tank makes the ordinary
extraordinary.
You have a few options to take advantage of the
rewards you have built by using your Disney Visa card. Once on board, you can add your Rewards Redemption Card to your account to apply any charges during your cruise. If a credit is left at the end of your cruise, this will be reloaded back to your Rewards balance. I have done this before, and it works very seamlessly.
I have also used the
"Pay Yourself Back" option. For me, this is much simpler. And if you plan to have more Rewards Dollars than you will spend on the cruise, this may be helpful to you as well. You can apply your Rewards Dollars to any qualified Disney purchase made in the past 90 days. Rather than loading your rewards to a redemption card, you keep them in your account. Once logged into your Chase account online or in the app, you can review past charges and apply your available dollars to any eligible purchase, in whole or in part. I find it very easy to manage without keeping track of a card or reward balances.
If you use your Disney Visa as your form of payment on the cruise, once you are back on land, you can log in and apply any amount of your Rewards Dollars to your onboard charges (up to the amount spent). If you have made other qualified charges within the previous 90 days, you can apply your Rewards Dollars or save them for an upcoming vacation.
Alicia, I hope this helps you in planning to pay for those wonderful
onboard activities and
Port Adventures that add extra magic to your time with Captains Mickey and Minnie. If we can help with anything else, please cruise back by
planDisney. We are all aboard to help!
