i just got a Disney visa credit card and was going to attach that card to our magic bands. Do you earn the points for the visa while it’s linked to the magic band or do you have to use the actual card to get the points?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim! In just a few weeks you will be enjoying your Incredible Summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort

I think it’s a great idea to attach your Disney® Visa® Card to your Disney Resort hotel reservation during your stay. Here’s how it will work, anything you pay for with your MagicBand, whether it’s quick or table service meals, merchandise or a Mickey Bar, will go on your Disney Resort hotel room bill. At the end of your stay, those charges go on the card you have on file. In this case, all the charges will count toward rewards on your Disney® Visa® Card Statement.

Did you know that there’s an easy way to keep track of your spending while you’re visiting the most magical place on earth? Tap your My Disney Experience app on your smartphone, look for your Disney Resort hotel reservation and search for room charges. There you will be able to see all of the charges you’ve made with your MagicBand!

Speaking of points, don’t forget to bring your Disney Rewards Redemption Card with you during your trip. You can use these magical dollars toward your Disney Resort hotel stay, merchandise and meals.

Kim, I hope you will take advantage of the Disney® Visa® Cardmember Character Experience at Epcot! My daughters love visiting with the classic characters! The free digital download is also a great addition to our vacation pictures.

Don’t hesitate to come back to see soon! Have a magical visit!
