I have a Disney Visa card and I’m planning on getting a Magic Key pass at some point. Can the Disney Visa & Magic Key discounts on shopping/dining be combined?

    Hello MaryAnne!

Welcome to planDisney! I do love a good bargain and I get a little thrill when I can snag a deal or discount. Getting a discount on Disney is extra magical!

There are quite a few discounts that overlap between a Magic Key Pass and the Disney Rewards Visa Card. As you mentioned, they both give the holder a discount at select merchandise and dining locations. While I love the idea of stacking discounts, unfortunately, these discounts can’t be combined. But it was a great idea!

I do know of one double discount that I use for my own trips. If you have a Target Redcard, (credit or debit) did you know you can purchase a Disney Gift Card and receive a 5% discount? You can even order them online via the Target app and have them shipped to your home or emailed to you. Then head to the Disneyland Resort! Use the Magic Key Pass to access the discount on merchandise or dining, and pay with your discounted Disney Gift Card! Every little bit saved adds up!

    Happy savings!
