I'm excited to hear you're planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort! There is nothing quite like the excitement that builds as you get closer and closer to your arrival date!
Not only does the
Disney Visa Card provide a way to earn points to redeem at the parks and resorts, but it also provides many discounts at merchandise and dining locations. I have owned one for a few years now, and the benefits have been a great help. In order to apply any discounts, you will need to use the Disney Visa Card as your form of payment. Simply showing it at checkout will not apply the discount to your purchase.
I suggest doing some research to learn which merchandise and dining locations provide a discount for using this card. This way, you can create a plan ahead of time for when you plan to use your Disney Visa Card. You can then save the other cards for purchases at locations that do not provide a discount. I have noticed that not every place offers a discount for using this card.
Summer, one of my favorite dining locations at Walt Disney World can be found at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Kona Cafe offers dining throughout the day, although the breakfast menu is my all-time favorite. An order of the Macadamia Nut Pancakes, topped with fresh pineapple and macadamia nut butter, is the perfect meal to begin a Disney day. This dining location does apply a discount for using your Disney Visa Card, which makes it an optimal choice!
